GOOD BYE

Poem

He left us tonight.

No he left me.

He left while trying to make the world free. He left trying to do what’s right.

With no hope left in me, I can’t help but fight.

Fight the world, fight the war, and fight at sea.

My Dad an army man, so brave is he.

How brave was he, is the sentence tonight.

My face turns pale

The happy birds in my mind too sad to fly

Me looking out of a window

But he couldn’t help but fail

Storms rage in dear mind of mine

It’s only 12 p.m. and the clouds have already swallowed the sky

to cast a dark shadow.
